Instant Chocolate Cake #Recipe
I was flipping through an issue of the Food Network Magazine and saw a feature of quick dessert recipes. Despite not having a sweet tooth, even I was drawn in by the tasty treats and quick preparation methods. Today I tested out their instant chocolate cake recipe and it was so easy! You do need a very large mug if you make this. Next time I am going to triple it, then divide into small cups and make this for my next BBQ party.
Mix together the following until smooth, then cook in the microwave about 2 minutes until puffed. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
1/4 cup flour
5 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
dash of vanilla extract and salt

Ok so after reading your comments I just had to go and make it, actually I am eating it as I type this, and its very good surprisingly tasty, I have tried another version in a cup made in microwave but it came out tasting little rubbery but this is great, I topped it off with some chocolate coolwhip and will be making it again for sure
thanks for the recipe, I've made a copy for future reference

I've heard about this but I've never made it. This sounds like the perfect solution to, "I need dessert and I need it NOW>" Not that it ever happens to me. :)
Looks tasty!
